    First step: After preparing the wall for tile installation, which includes sanding the wall and taking careful measurements, Dennis Hall demonstrates how to apply mastic to the wall before putting up the tile. Mastic is an adhesive that doesn't require mixing.

    First step: After preparing the wall for tile installation, which includes sanding the wall and taking careful measurements, Dennis Hall demonstrates how to apply mastic to the wall before putting up the tile. Mastic is an adhesive that doesn't require mixing. 
    Second step: Apply the tile to the mastic starting from the bottom.
    Third step: Use a rubber mallet to lightly tap the tiles
    Fourth step: Use a tile cutter to cut tile when needed.
    Fifth step: Apply the grout.
    Sixth step: Use a sponge to wipe off the extra grout.
    Completed project! Pictured here is a finished tile backsplash.
